“Adults know everything, right?” motocross champ Kelana Humphrey asked the crowd. “But wasn’t it you who invented these phones that you’re now trying to find a way to get away from us?”
Ha ha, that was one of the great speeches made at the recent Gabb Beyond event in Utah, where we announced the release of the new Z2 phone.
For the launch of this new phone, we really wanted to do something special. It takes so many people to bring something like this to life, so we wanted to celebrate everyone’s efforts in one place. So, that’s why we hosted Gabb Beyond.
One of the coolest things about the event was all the people that turned up to be part of it. Gabb ambassadors like Caiden Cernius (bmx rider), Tyler Gordon (painter), Kelana Humphrey (motocross), and Kai Jones (skier) travelled across the US to join us, while locals like Sam Gordon (football), Jake Adams (slalom) and Lexi Gordon attended as well. We were especially excited to have international recording artist LeCrae in attendance, showing his support and commitment to the Gabb mission.
“I’m here because I believe in the technology and the mission of Gabb,” said Lecrae, “so I just came here to show my support.”
2020 Global Prodigy painter Tyler Gordon painted an awesome portrait of Lecrae and presented it to him during the show.
Other highlight included a musical set from Lexi Walker, Q&As with the Gabb Ambassadors hosted by Sam Gordon, and, of course, the announcements of the new Z2 Gabb Phone and a “coming soon” Gabb watch.
In addition to all the superstars and groundbreaking technology, there were cupcakes and smoothies, too. Which were delicious.
Wish you were here.
