At age 2, Caiden Cernius mastered the balance bike. By age 3, he was into dirt bikes. After some time to explore different bikes, he realized his true passion was with BMX bikes. As a young boy he perfected his signature 360 trick. “I tried it 56 times in a day, and that was the perfect time to land it,” he explains. His parents started taking him to skate park and BMX competitions after that, and Caiden was officially hooked. A born showman, Caiden started his own Youtube channel at age 6, which is filmed and edited by his father, Brian, a former BMX rider himself. He’s spent the last four years traveling the world competing, filming, and improving his skills on his bike. This year, Caiden is the youngest BMX rider ever with his own signature bike for sale internationally. And he just turned 9! Safe to say, he’s got big things in his future.
I can remember learning to ride my strider bike when I was 2.
I would say going to Travis Pastrana’s house was the most fun. It was such an honor to get invited to spend the day with him. And his “Pastrana-land” compound is truly amazing
Most of my idols are actually motocross riders: Travis Pastrana, Robbie Maddison, Ryan Williams, and the whole Nitro Circus crew.
I just tell myself I gotta send it! I also joke around about having a boost button under my seat!

I practice doing stuff on my trampoline and mats inside my house when it's raining, but mostly I just ride my bike a lot and that's how I get better.

I was five years old. I don't remember learning to bunny hop, but I learned to 360 that year so I must have already known.

You just gotta take things one step at a time. Learn to wheelie, then to bunny hop, and then fakie and 180. Each step leads to the next. The most important thing is to have fun.
